Ketunmaa Live Set 2026

Ketunmaa emerged as an experimental gathering in the Oulu region, rooted in underground culture, DIY ethos, and intentional respect for nature and communal space. Rather than scaling up immediately, this first edition focused on laying sustainable groundwork: transforming a raw landscape into a living platform for electronic music, art, and shared presence. The goal was quiet but deliberate — building year-by-year infrastructure for what could become a larger festival ecosystem.

I delivered a 90-minute live set, taking advantage of the festival's deliberate time allocation: while DJs were offered 60-minute slots, live electronic performers received extended 90-minute windows. This structure reflected a clear appreciation for real-time sound generation and gave space for deeper sonic exploration.

For this set, I debuted my newly configured rig — prioritizing tactile input, rhythmic layering, and live modulation. Hardware responding in real time rather than following pre-recorded sequences.

Ketunmaa deliberately steps away from conventional festival models. Built around local artists, open jam sessions, workshops, communal saunas, and unstructured downtime, the event functions as a temporary ecosystem where underground electronic culture meets intentional community building.

On-site camping (tents & motorhomes) keeps the gathering grounded, while the absence of commercial staging or rigid programming fosters spontaneity, collaboration, and mutual exchange.
